Witbier All Grain Recipe
Posted by Tamara Pollick on
This recipe is on the top of my lists for re-brew. Two reasons. when we tasted on transfer it was a mouthful of perfection- the esters and flavors were on point, color was flawless and beautiful...then life got the best of us. We threw it in the secondary with some coriander and orange peel (of which we forgot during the brew) and left it there.
Days flew by in the whirlwind of our household and the 'what harm can one more day do?' mentality took our fragrant and bountiful wit straight to flat town. The characteristics of the beer were GONE. Only remaining flavors were overpowering coriander and orange peel additions with no trace of our lovely brew. SO, let us know how she turns out for you. I'll be getting her back in the kettle again asap.
